Designing an improved structure of the tool for repairing the brake pipe connectors in vehicles

This paper addresses the issue of difficulties in servicing brake pipe connectors for passenger cars, service life which exceeds 8‒10 years, is associated with deteriorated loosening connectors. The existing ways to loosen pipes have been investigated, especially those whose dismantling complicated due corrosion and contamination mated surfaces as a result their wetting when driving car. A conventional structure connector has analyzed, installed that place car most unprotected from moisture dirt – on cylinder. conditions do not contribute its failure-free examined. design specialized split clamping ring wrench considered, can transmit greatest value torque it; sometimes, however, predefined would suffice. computer-based finite-element simulation was employed derive models deformation state node «connector ‒ wrench».
